RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER VACATION OF EASEMENT
VASONA BUSINESS PARK - UNIVERSITY AVENUE
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
1. It is the intention of the Town Council to vacate all of the
easement hereafter described.
2. The easement proposed to be vacated is described in Exhibit
"A" attached to this resolution and made a part of it by this reference.
A map or plan showing the location of the easement is on file in the
Office of the Town Clerk to which reference is made for further
particulars.
3. A public hearing will be held on May 15, 1978, at the meeting
of the Town Council. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Council
Chambers of the Civic Center, 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos, California.
If the Town Council finds from the evidence submitted that the easement
is unnecessary for present or prospective use, it may make its order
vacating all or part of the easement.
4. The Town Clerk is authorized and is hereby directed to publish
a copy of this resolution in the Los Gatos Times - Saratoga Observer, a
newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the Town
of Los Gatos, within 15 days after the date of its adoption.
5. The Mayor of the Town of Los Gatos is authorized and is hereby
directed to execute a Notice of Public Hearing on Vacation of Easement
and the Director of Public Works is authorized and is hereby directed
to post conspicuously three copies of such Notice, not more than 300
feet apart along the line of the easement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos this 17th day of April 1978, by the
following vote:

Lochner, Peter W. Siemens and Mardi Gualtieri

EXHIBIT "A"
All of Farley Road, East of University Avenue, being 40 feet
in width, as_.. shown on that certain Record of Survey recorded
in Book 77 of Maps at page 28, Santa Clara County Records.
Excepting therefrom a strip of land 12.00 feet in width lying
East of and adjacent to the most easterly line of University
Avenue described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of University
Avenue and Farley Road; thence, along said centerline of Farley
Road South 790 00' 35" East, 42.53 feet to a point on the east-
erly line of University Avenue and the True Point of Beginning;
thence, North 300 51' 00" East, 261.34 feet; thence, tangent,with
the last named course northeasterly on a curve having a radius
of 20.00 feet through a central angle of 660 25' 23" an arc
distance of 23.19 feet- thence, South 300 51' 00" West, 275.33
feet; thence, North 796 00' 35" West, 12.70 feet to the True
Point of Beginning.
Also excepting therefrom a strip of land 10 feet in width
lying East of and adjacent to the most easterly line of
University Avenue described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection at the centerlines of University
Avenue and Farley Road; thence, along said centerline of
University Avenue North 300 51' 00" East, 581.50 feet; thence,
South 590 09' 00" East 40.00 feet to the True Point of Begin-
ning; thence, South 306 51' 00" West 220.66 feet; thence, tangent
with the last named course southeasterly on a curve having a
radius of 20.00 feet through a central angle of 600 00' 16" an
arc distance of 20.95 feet; thence, North 300 51' 00" East,
241.57 feet; thence, North 780 53' 40" West, 10.62 feet to the
True Point of Beginning.
