RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER VACATION OF EASEMENT
ADJACENT TO LOT 13, TRACT 4125
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
1. It is the intention of the Town Council to vacate the easement
hereafter described.
2. The easement proposed to be vacated is described in Exhibit
"A" attached to this resolution and made a part of it by this reference.
A map or plan showing the location of the easement is on file in the
office of the Town Clerk to which reference is made for further
particulars.
3. A public hearing will be held on June 5, 1978, at the meeting
of the Town Council. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Council
Chambers of the Civic Center, 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos, California.
If the Town Council finds from the evidence submitted that the easement
is unnecessary for present or .prospective use, it may make its order
vacating all or part of the easement.
4. The Town Clerk is authorized and is hereby directed to publish
a copy of this resolution in the Los Gatos Times - Saratoga Observer, a
newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the Town
of Los Gatos, within 15 days after the date of its adoption.
S. The Mayor of the Town of Los Gatos is authorized and is hereby
directed to execute a Notice of Public Hearing on Vacation of Easement
and the Director of Public Works is authorized and is hereby directed
to post conspicuously three copies of such Nctice, not more than 300
feet apart along the line of the easement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos this 1st day of May , 1978, by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Ruth Cannon, Thomas J. Ferrito, John B.
Lochner, Peter W. Siemens and Mardi Gualtieri
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS None
