A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS
OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
HELD MARCH 7, 1978.
WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held in the
Town of Los Gatos on Tuesday, the 7th day of March, 1978, and
was conducted in form and manner as required by the laws of the
State of California governing the elections of General Law Cities,
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, determined and declared as follows:
That in Precinct "93" being a consolidation of Precincts 3745,
3747 and 3758;and Precinct "94" being a consolidation of Pre-
cincts 3740 and 3765; and Precinct "95" being a consolidation of
Precincts 3742, 3750 and 3776; and Precinct "96" being a consoli-
dation of Precincts 3751, 3769 and 3772; and Precinct "97" being
a consolidation of Precincts 3763 and 3766; and Precinct "98"
being a consolidation of Precincts 3752 and 3753; and Precinct "99"
comprising regular election Precinct number 3771; and Precinct "100"
being a consolidation of Precincts 3741 and 3754; and Precinct "101"
being a consolidation of Precincts 3778 and 3780; and Precinct "102"
being a consolidation of Precincts 3757 and 3777; and Precinct "103°
being a consolidation of Precincts 3774 and 3779; and Precinct "104"
being a consolidation of Precincts 3755 and 3756; and Precinct "105"
being a consolidation of Precincts 3746 and 3748; and Precinct "106"
being a consolidation of Precincts 3744 and 3764; and Precinct "107"
comprising regular election Precinct number 3743; and Precinct "108"
comprising regular election Precinct number 3749
The whole number of persons voted for was five ;
the whole number of votes cast was 034 including
absentee ballots;
That the names of the persons voted for, the offices for
which they were voted , and the number of votes received by each
of said persons in each of said precincts, together with the absentee
votes, together with the whole number of votes which they received
in the entire Town are as follows:. - - - - -—

RESOLVED, therefore, that at the said general municipal
election held in the Town of Los Gatos, March 7, 1978, the following
persons were el-ected to the following offices, respectively:
Ruth Cannon, Thomas J. Ferrito and Peter W. Siemens
were each elected a member of the Town Council for
the full term of four years.

RESOLVED FURTHER: That the Clerk shall enter upon the
records of this Council the results of said General Municipal elec-
tion and shall deliver to each person elected a Certificate of Elec-
tion duly signed and authenticated by her and she shall impose the
constitutional oath and have them subscribe thereon, whereupon,, they
shall be inducted to the respective offices to which they have been
elected.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of March, 1978, by the
following votes:
