A RESOLUTION COMMENDING
GEORGE KANE
WHEREAS, GEORGE KANE has been the Publisher of the Los Gatos-
Saratoga Times Observer for the past 22 years, and covered the Town
Council meetings for over 10 years; and
WHEREAS, he has strived to improve the quality of the newspaper
for the citizens of Los Gatos; and
WHEREAS, he has not only served the community well in his capacity
with the newspaper, but has been active in community activities; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such long and outstanding
service deserves special recognition and commendation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Los Gatos Town Council
does hereby express its appreciation to GEORGE KANE for the important
and worthwhile public service he has rendered to the Town and its
citizens and wish him well in his retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos
at a regular _ meeting held this 20th day of March 1978,
