I am writing this letter on behalf of Anna Pizzo to support the proposed opening of Zona Rosa Los Gatos. I have
known Anna for many years. She is basically family, but my support goes way beyond our friendly /family
affiliation.
I've had the pleasure of having been to Anna's original Zona Rosa in San Jose. The cuisine at Zona Rosa is
freshly prepared, and uniquely pleasing to the palette. Simply put, the food is great! Anna is very active in
creating and preparing the menu, and customer service is their main focus. The dining experience is always a
good night out.
While I am not a residence of Los Gatos, I am an employee at Los Gatos High School. I was hired a year ago to
take over the Football program at the high school, and since that time my wife and I have absolutely fallen in love
with the town and its people.
I think Zona Rosa would not only fit right in, but also be a great addition to the town of Los Gatos.

Dear Los Gatos Town Council and Planning Commission:
My husband and I are residents of Los Gatos and enjoy supporting local businesses. Over
the past several months we have commented to one another that Los Gatos really
needs more restaurants. It's almost impossible to get into a restaurant on a Friday or
Saturday evening. That being the case, this past Friday we ventured down into San Jose
instead and had dinner at a darling restaurant on the Alameda named Zona Rosa.
The ambience was charming and the food and cocktails were incredible. While we were
having dinner the owner, Anna Pizzo, stopped by our table to say hello and introduced
herself. We told her how much we were enjoying her restaurant and only wished that it
were closer to our home. When she found out that we were Los Gatos residents she
informed us that she had selected a Los Gatos location and was hoping to open a second
Zona Rosa pending Los Gatos Town approval.
We really prefer local business owners versus large chain restaurants and think Zona
Rosa would be a great addition to our downtown. We encourage you to support Anna
Pizzo's desire to move her business into Los Gatos.
