RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
ORDERING THE VACATION OF A SIX -FOOT WIDE
STRIP OF PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY ALONG
234 LOS GATOS BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos has proceeded under the
provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Section 8330, et seq., of the Streets and Highways Code,
concerning the vacation of a parcel of land dedicated for public street purposed in the
Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California, consisting of a strip of land
approximately six (6) feet in width extending northeasterly for approximately 50.56 feet
along Los Gatos Boulevard, at 234 Los Gatos Boulevard, more particularly described on
Exhibit "A" entitled, "Description of Excess Portion of a Public Right -of -Way to be
Abandoned (234 Los Gatos Boulevard) by the Town of Los Gatos ", ( "The Right -of- Way ")
attached hereto, and shown on Exhibit "B" entitled, "Plat to Accompany Description of a
Public Right -of -Way Abandonment "; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Streets and Highways Code, Section
8334(a), the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos declares that the Right -of -Way is
excess and is not needed for street purposes.

RESOLVED, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos finds from all of the
evidence submitted that the Right -of -Way is unnecessary for present or prospective street
purposes, and hereby vacates the Right -of -Way.
FURTHER RESOLVED, the Town Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this Order,
attested by her under the Seal of the Town, to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of the County of Santa Clara. From and after the date this resolution is recorded,
the Right -of -Way shall no longer constitute a street or any portion of a street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 16th day of December, 1991, by the following vote:

BEGINNING at the intersection of the southeasterly line
of Los Gatos Boulevard with the southwesterly line of Wheeler
Avenue, running thence from said Point of Beginning along the
southeasterly line of Los Gatos Boulevard, S 34° 00' W, 300.56
feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence continuing along
