PROJECT LOCATION: 32 N. SANTA CRUZ AVENUE. PROPERTY OWNER: FLICK FAMILY TRUST. APPLICANT: NAPA STYLE. CONSIDER A REQUEST OF APPROVAL TO MODIFY AN EXISTING CUP FOR A FORMULA RETAIL STORE (NAPA STYLE) TO ALLOW BEER AND WINE TASTING, SALES, AND EVENTS ON PROPERTY ZONED C- 2:LHP. 529 -03 -055. A Council Member requested clarification regarding the Town's requirements for CUP's and alcohol sales and service. Town Code requires Planning Commission approval of a CUP for all off -site sales of alcohol. In addition, on -site sales /service of alcohol requires a CUP that is reviewed by the Planning Commission and approved by the Town Council. These requirements apply whether the alcohol sales/service is the primary use or an ancillary use. ABC notifies the Town of any new license request or modification to an existing license within the Town to ensure compliance with these requirements. In addition, staff would like to note an error on the first sheet of Exhibit 5 of Attachment 1.
