ROLL CALL Present: Mayor Steve Rice, Vice Mayor Barbara Spector, Council Memb er Steven Leonardis, Council Member Diane McNutt, and Council Member Joe Pirzynski. Absent: None CLOSED SESSION REPORT Judith Propp, Town Attorney, commented that Council took no reportable action. VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS (Three -minute time limit) M r. Arzie - Expressed concern about Town’s participation in the A ssociation of B ay A rea G overnments (ABAG).
Page 2 DISCUSSION TOPIC > Update on Three Regional Processes: Sustainable Communities Strategies, One Bay Area Grant, and the Regional Housing Needs Alloca tion for 2014 to 2022 Wendie Rooney, Director of Community Development, presented the staff report. Council Discussion - Commented that proposing a P riority D evelopment A rea (PDA) may encourage future development where it may not be planned. Ms. Rooney - Commented that staff is providing alternatives to possibly prevent the loss of transportation funds. Mr. Larson - Commented on the difference between a PDA and a potential PDA. Mr. Capurso - Explained various funding sources for transportation grants. C ouncil Consensus Town Council reached a consensus not to designate any PDA within Town limits.
