MINUTES OF THE TOWN COUNCIL /PARKING AUTHORITY/
SUCCESSOR AGENCY MEETING
OCTOBER 1, 2012
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a Regular Meeting on Monday,
October 1, 2012 at 7:00 P.M.
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 7:00 P.M.
ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Steve Rice, Vice Mayor Barbara Spector, Council Member Steven
Leonardis, Council Member Diane McNutt, and Council Member Joe Pirzynski.
Absent: None
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Molly Bail, Thomas Culwell, Christian Gramling, and Tara Rezvani led the Pledge of
Allegiance as Youth Citizens of the Year. The audience was invited to participate.
PRESENTATION
Mayor Steve Rice presented a commendation to Father Rick Rodoni to recognize St.
Mary's Church's 100th Anniversary.
CLOSED SESSION REPORT
Judith Propp, Town Attorney, commented that Council will meet in closed session
following the Town Council meeting.
COUNCIL /TOWN MANAGER REPORTS
Council Matters
Mayor Steve Rice
- Encouraged the public to serve on the Town's various Boards and Commissions, for
which recruitment is in progress.

Manager Matters
- Commented that many people enjoyed watching "The Lorax" at Screen on the
Green on September 28, 2012.
- Commented that a successful Los Gatos Wine Walk took place on September 29,
2012.
Did You Know ??
Sgt. Kerry Harris, Los Gatos -Monte Sereno Police Department
- Commented on Emergency Preparedness in the Town as October is Emergency
Preparedness month.
CONSENT ITEMS (TO BE ACTED UPON BY A SINGLE MOTION)
Approve Council minutes of September 17, 2012
2. Adopt resolution supporting Safe Routes to School and recognizing International
Walk to School Day and International Bike to School Day
3. MIS Police Patrol Mobile Data Computers (MDC) Replacement Program Authorize
the Town Manager to execute a purchase agreement with CDCE Mobile
Computing in an amount not to exceed $105,256.71
4. Authorize the Town Manager to proceed with the re- purchase of private property
subject to an existing Below Market Price (BMP) First Right of Refusal Option at
137 Bersano Lane, Los Gatos, CA. APN 424 -29 -054
MOTION: Motion by Council Member Pirzynski to approve Consent Items
#1 -4. Seconded by Council Member Steven Leonardis
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously.

There were no verbal communications for this meeting.

The meeting adjourned to Closed Session at 7:20 p.m.
