1999-081-Approving Fiscal Year 1999-00 Operating Budget
RESOLUTION 1999 - 81 RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS APPROVING FISCAL YEAR 1999 -00 OPERATING BUDGET WHEREAS, Section 2.30.295(b) of the Los Gatos Town Code requires the Town Manager to annually prepare and submit a budget to the Town Council and be responsible for its administration; and WHEREAS, the Town Manager did submit a proposed budget for the 1999 -00 fiscal year to the Town Council; and WHEREAS, the Town Council has considered and reviewed said proposed budget during public hearings. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that the Town Council hereby adopts as the budget for the Town of Los Gatos for the 1999 -00 fiscal year those schedules entitled "Town of Los Gatos Position Classification Plan," " Summary of Positions," attached hereto. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 21s' day of June, 1999 by the following vote. Adjustments to Police Sergeant positions were previously approved by Council. The vacation leave cash -out provision was revised consistent with the bargaining unit agreements which do not require a set amount of vacation use to qualify for cash -out. Step 2 Employees hired to fill temporary positions, with the exception of Police Officer Trainee and the positions identified below, shall be compensated at 91.5% of the regular hourly wage for the corresponding Town position.
