RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR PROJECT 9908 - LOS GATOS BOULEVARD STRIPING
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, to carry out Project No. 9908 - Los Gatos Boulevard
Striping, and
WHEREAS, the Town Council adopted resolution 1997 -138 on December 15, 1997
approving amendment No. 1 to the Los Gatos Boulevard Plan regarding lane width, and
WHEREAS, the intent of the project design is to narrow the inside travel lane to
eleven feet in width, increasing the outside lanes, thereby enhancing driveway, transit turnouts,
sidewalks, and bike lanes on Los Gatos Boulevard, and
WHEREAS, the Plans and Specifications entitled "TOWN OF LOS GATOS
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS - PROJECT NO 9908 - LOS GATOS BOULEVARD
STRIPING" dated May 14, 1999, on file in the Office of the Town Clerk; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Town Council approves of the Plans
and Specifications fro Project No. 9908 - Los Gatos Boulevard Striping.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 7th day of June, 1999 by the following vote:
