RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
TIBURON, INC. TO UPGRADE POLICE DEPARTMENT COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH
(CAD) AND THE RECORDS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (RMS)
WHEREAS, the Town wishes to purchase software and hardware to upgrade the CAD /RMS
System to be Y2K compliant; and
WHEREAS, the Town wishes to upgrade its existing system without losing the benefit of the
data it has collected over the past six years; and
WHEREAS, Tiburon, Inc. is the current proprietary software provider for the CAD /RMS
systems and can best meet the needs of this upgrade.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
that the Town Manager is authorized to execute an agreement with Tiburon, Inc. for the purchase of
CAD /RMS software, hardware and other services to upgrade existing systems to be Y2K
compliant. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos, California, held on the 5th day of April, 1999 by the following vote:
