RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
PROJECT 03 -36B - MONTEBELLO LOT IMPROVEMENTS
AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ADVERTISE THE PROJECT FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the Montebello Parking Lot Improvements have
been prepared by the Town Engineer and duly filed with the Town Clerk/Secretary of the
Redevelopment Agency; and
WHEREAS, public improvements are of benefit to the project area or the immediate
neighborhood of the project area; and
WHEREAS, no other reasonable means of financing such public improvements are
available to the community; and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency's contribution to the cost of the public
improvement will assist in elimination of one or more blighting conditions in the project area;
and
WHEREAS, the Town Council /Redevelopment Agency of the Town of Los Gatos has
reviewed said plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Town Council /Redevelopment
Agency hereby approves the plans and specifications for the Montebello Parking Lot
Improvements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Town Clerk/Secretary of the
Redevelopment Agency is hereby authorized and directed to advertise the Montebello Parking
Lot Improvements for bids in the manner prescribed by the Town Municipal Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos held on the 15`h day of September, 2003 by the following vote:
AYES: Steve Glickman, Diane McNutt, Joe Pirzynski, Mike Wasserman,
Mayor Sandy Decker.
NAYS: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
