RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL /REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
TO REJECT BIDS FOR PROJECT 02 -33 -B
SANTA CRUZ AVENUE ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, bids were sought in conformance with State and Town law for Project #02 -33 -B -
Santa Cruz Avenue Electrical Improvements; and
WHEREAS, Cupertino Electric Company submitted a bid to the Town Clerk's Office on July
30, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the bids submitted was judged by staff to be were too costly and not economical at
this time;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council /Redevelopment Agency of
the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that Council reject the bids and
authorize staff to negotiate a price with an electrical contractor for Project #02 -33 -B - Santa Cruz
Avenue Electrical Improvements.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, at a regular meeting of the Town Council /Redevelopment Agency
of the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 4th day of August, 2003 by the following vote:

AYES: Steve Glickman, Diane McNutt, Joe Pirzynski, Mike Wasserman,
Mayor Sandy Decker.
