We certainly appreciated your comments and suggestions regarding the plans that my firm has for the development of a portion of the Knowles Avenue / Courthouse Site. We particularly appreciated your advice about our participation at the last General Plan Committee meeting. Chairman John Bourgeois was very generous in permitting me to speak, and made it possible for both Scott Johnson of MiclPen Housing and me to respond in full to questions from committee members. My firm is continuing to work closely with the Community Development Department Staff to ensure that any plans that we make for the Courthouse Site are in accordance with the Site Design Guidelines that are being considered as part of the Affordable Housing Overlay Zone (AHOZ), Although I have not yet seen the June 4f Town Council Agenda, I thank you in advance for all the help you have given to make it possible for the Town Council to permit the Courthouse Site to be considered separately from the other AHOZ properties. We appreciated your interest in discussing the plans that my firm has for the development of a portion of the Knowles Avenue / Courthouse Site. We have attended the General Plan Committee meetings that are addressing issues regarding the development of an Affordable Housing Overlay Zone (AHOZ) for several Los Gatos properties. 1 am working closely with the Community Development Department to ensure that any plans that we make for the Courthouse Site are in accordance with the Site Design Guidelines that are being considered. My hope is that when the Town Council meets on June 4th, it will permit the Courthouse Site to be considered separately from the other AHOZ properties.
