THE PROPERTY IS NOT LIKE ANY OF THE SCORES OF APARTMENT RENTALS I CONSIDERED THROUGHOUT LOS GATOS AND TOWN TERRACE THAT MADE ME FELL CLAUSTROPHOBIC BECAUSE THE WERE ALLOWED TO BE BUILT SO VERY CLOSE TOGETHER, CONDENSED WITH ALMOST NO VIEWS. LOOKING AT THE PLAN IT SEEMS THAT THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT WOULD ELIMINATE MY AND MANY OF MY NEIGHBORS VIEWS OF THE MOUNTAINS AND DESTROY THE MATURE PARK LIKE PEACEFUL NATURE OF THIS DEVELOPMENT FOR TITE ADDITIONAL PROFITS OF TIM DEVELOPER ONCE AGAIN QUANTITY OF PROFITS WOULD TRUMP QUALITY OF LIFE WHAT A MISTAKE IF PLANNING STAFF CONTINUES TO SQUEEZE NATURE AND SMALL TOWN FEEL OUT OF LOS GATOS TO KEEP DEVELOPING WHAT LITTLE GREEN IS LEFT TO DEVELOP. ALREADY THE SAN JOSE WATER DISTRICTS HAS DESTROYED VEGIGATION THAT SCREENED THE PROPERTY FROM HIGHWAY 17 ALLOWING US TO VIEW TRAFFIC RATHER THEN PLANTINGS IT IS TIME TO SAY NO MORE[ ONCE GONE LOS GATOS WILL BE LIKE MOST OTHER TOWNS THAT SOLD OUT TO DEVELOPERS INTERESTS AND DID NOT KNOW HOW TO SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH YES THE BMIABENEFITS FOR WHICH I AM ELIGIBLE (ANT) HOPEFULLY i WILL NOT BE PENALIZED BY THE DEVELOPER FOR RECORDING MY CONCERNS) MUST BE CONSIDERED. BUT THIS CAN BE DONE BY KEEPING THE MOUNTAIN FACING VIEWS UNOBSTRUCTED. ELIMINATE" BUILDING ONE" AND PERHAPS BUILDING TWO ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE PROPERTY SO THE EXISTING PROJECT KEEPS THE BEAUTIFUL MATURE TREES. IF NOT, FUTURE RENTERS WILL NEVER HAVE SUCH VIEWS IN LOS GATOS AND THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN LOS GATOS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE GOES IN THE WRONG DIRECTION (LIKE 5 STORY NETFLIX BUILDINGS). IT IS TIME TO INVEST IN QUALITY OF LIFE DEVELOPMENT FOR EXISTING LOS GATOS RESIDENTS NOT TO MAXIMIZE PROFITS FOR DEVELOPMENT INTERESTS SUCH AS THOSE WHO SPEAK AT COUNCIL MEETINGS SUPPORTING FIVE STORY BUILDINGS AND ZONING CHANGES OVER THE OBJECTIONS OF THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE AROUND THESE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENTS. HOPEFULLY WE CAN CHANGE THE THINKING OF THE TOWN COUNCIL, PLANNING COMMISSION & STAFF BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. I'VE SEEN THIS SAD SCENARIO PLAY OUT IN MANY TOWNS IN MY LIFETIME AND HOPEFULLY LOS GATOS WILL LISTEN TO RESIDENTS BEFORE DEVELOPERS AND THEIR SO OBVIOUS "IN THE POCKET" SUPPORTERS GET MORE THEN THE EAR OF THE COUNCIL ON ANOTHER NOTE, I HAVE SUGGESTED A JAPANESE GARDEN, WITH TURTLE POND AS PART OF THE NORTH FORTY PROPERTY TO REMEMBER HOW THE OWNER AND OTHER JAPANESE WERE SENT TO CAMP DURING THE WAR.
