ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AMENDING DIVISION 3, TOWN ATTORNEY, SECTION 2.30.505
CLARIFYING COURT FILING S
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I
Division 3, Section 2.30.505, is amended to read as follows:
Section 2.30.505.
Duties
The Town Attorney shall be the legal adviser of the Town and all of its officers. The Town
Attorney shall prosecute all criminal actions or proceedings in the Superior Court, includin g
all actions for the violation of this Code or any ordinance of the Town. The Town Attorney
shall represent the Town in all litigation in which the Town may be a party or may be
interested and shall perform such other duties as may be required by the Town Council.
SECTION II
In the event that any part of this ordinance is held to be invalid, the invalid part or parts shall b e
severed from the remaining portions which shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION III
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos
on December 6, 2004, and adopted by the following vote as an ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos at a
meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos on the 20th of December, 2004 and takes effect 30
days after it is adopted.
