RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
APPROVING AN IMPLEMENTATION PLAN AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING PRODUCTION
PLAN FOR THE CENTRAL LOS GATOS REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA FOR THE
PERIOD OF JULY 1, 2009 TO JUNE 30, 2014
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos has approved and adopted the
Redevelopment Plan for the Central Los Gatos Project Area (the Project Area); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33490, the Redevelopment Agency of the
Town of Los Gatos (the Agency) is required to conduct a noticed public hearing to adopt, amend, and review
an Implementation Plan for the Project Area (the Implementation Plan); and
WHEREAS, Agency staff has prepared and presented to the Agency a proposed hmplementation Plan
for the five year period covering July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2014, a copy of which is on file with the Agency
Secretary; and
WHEREAS, on the date of this resolution, the Agency has conducted and concluded a duly noticed
public hearing on the Implementation Plan in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 33490; and
WHEREAS, the Agency finds that the Implementation Plan, with any modifications as considered
and approved in connection with the public bearing, constitutes a statement of the Agency's goals and
objectives for the Project Area, a summary of specific programs and proposed expenditures proposed to be
made by -the Agency for the redevelopment of the Project Area for the five year period stated, and an
explanation of how the goals and objectives, projects and expendihu•es will eliminate bkight within the Project
Area and implement the affordable housing regulations of the Community Redevelopment Law; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33490, approval of an Implementation Plan
does not constitute a project forpurposes ofthe California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and therefore
no environmental documentation is required pursuant to CEQA.
RESOLVED, that the Agency hereby approves and adopts the Implementation Plan for the Central
Los Gatos Project Area and oj•ders that a copy of the Implementation Plan be maintained on file with the
Agency Secretary.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Agency hereby authorized the Agency Executive Director to take
such other actions as are appropriate to effectuate the intent of the Implementation Plan.
FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, that this Resolution shall take immediate effect from and after its
passage.

held on the 21st day of December, 2009, by the following vote:
