RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF'THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
APPROVING THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
ENGINEERING DESIGN STANDARDS
WHEREAS, the Town is in need of a comprehensive set of engineering design standards
for both public and private projects consistent with national engineering standards, :State
Environmental, and transportation requirements; and
WHEREAS, a collaborative effort by the Parks :and Public Works and Community
Development Departments over the past year has produced the new engineering design standards
for the Town of Los Gatos, and
WHEREAS, new engineering design standards will provide criteria for preparing a set of
construction documents, its design details, and processes and will incorporate the latest.
regulations related to NPDES, and ADA codes .and guidelines.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that the Council adopt the Town of Los Gatos
Engineering Design Standards.
.PASSED AND ADOPTED, at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos, California, held on the 21st day of June, .2004 by the following vote:
