RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING LOS GATOS POLICE FOUNDATION
DONATION OF A 1999 GMC SUBURBAN
.FOR THE DART TEAM .AND A 1998 FORD COBRA
FOR THE DARE OFFICER, AUCTION PROCEEDS OF PREVIOUSLY
DONATED VEHICLES TO BE USED FOR PURCHASE OF
UTILITY COMMAND TRAILER FOR DART.
WHEREAS, the Los Gatos Police .Foundation has donated two vehicles for
use by the Disaster Aid Response Team and by the Police Department's School
Resource Officer; and
WHEREAS, two other vehicles previously donated are no longer serviceable
and therefore should be .removed from the Town's equipment inventory; and
WHEREAS, the proceeds from the sale of those two vehicles will assist in
the purchase of other needed equipment by the Police Foundation.
RESOLVED, that the Police Department is authorizedto accept the donations
of a 1999 GMC Suburbanand a 1998 Ford Cobra for use within the Police Department.
