RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH TIBURON, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $113,000 AND EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH MOBILE MAN FOR $130,849.17 FOR THE PURCHASE OF
MOBILE DATA HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, :INSTALLATION AND TRAINING
WHEREAS, the State of California Law Enforcement Equipment Program (CLEEP) has
awarded the Town of Los Gatos a grant with which the Town wishes to purchase a mobile data
computing software; and,
WHEREAS, the Town has specified the grant funds would be used to purchase the mobile
data computing software which includes installation, services, and training; and,.
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos is entitled to receive $70.,053 under the terms of the
Grant;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,.
County of Santa Clara, State of California, that the Town Manager is authorized to negotiate and
_ execute a contract with Tiburon, Inc. in the amount of $113,000 and execute a contract with Mobile
Man in the amount of $130,849.17 for the purchase of mobile data hardware, software, installation,
services, and training for the Los Gatos/IVlonte Sereno Police Department (Exhibit A to this
resolution).
