RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
ACCEPTING WORK OF GRANITE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR
PROJECT 01-06 -STREET REPAIR AND RESURFACING OVERLAY PROGRAM AND
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER/EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE
CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE AND NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR
RECORDING BY TOWN CLERK/SECRETARY OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
WHEREAS, on August 20, 2001, the Town Council/Redevelopment Agency approved
plans and. specifications for Project 01-06 -'Street Repair and Resurfacing Overlay Program; and
WHEREAS, on October 1, 2001, the Town Council/Redevelopment Agency awarded
the contract for the proposed work to Granite Construction Company; and
WHEREAS, Granite Construction Company substantially completed the project in
conformance with the plans and specifications pursuant to Council/Redevelopment Agency
approval.
WHEREAS, ten percent of the performance bond provided by Granite Construction
Company shall remain in place for two years until September 3, 2004 to .guarantee the work.
WHEREAS, the work on Project 01-06 - .Street Repair and Resurfacing Overlay Project
was completed by Granite Construction Company and is hereby accepted as .complete pursuant
to the plans and specifications for the project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Manager/Executive Director
is authorized and directed to execute the Certificate of Acceptance and Notice of Completion
.attached as .(Exhibit A) hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk/Secretary of the Redevelopment
Agency is directed. to transmit this Certificate of Acceptance and Notice of Completion to the
Recorder of Santa Clara County for recording.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council/Redevelopment
Agency of the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 3rd day of September, 2002 by the
following vote.

PROJECT 01-06 -STREET REPAIR AND RESURFACING OVERLAY PROGRAM
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
We do hereby certify that Granite Construction Company substantially completed the work on
.June 26, 2002 for FY 2001/02 street repair and resurfacing project called for in the agreement
with the Town of Los Gatos dated October 10, 2001. The work is listed in the specifications
prepared by the'Town of Los Gatos and generally consisted of furnishing all labor, materials,
tools, equipment, and services required for completion of the Street Repair and Resurfacing
Overlay Program located in the TOWN OF LOS GATOS, County of Santa Clara, State of
California and was completed, approved and accepted September 3, 2002.
The Surety on the bond accompanying the contract/agreement is the Federal Insurance Company.

I, DEBRA J. FIGONE, the Town Manager/Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency of
the Town of Los Gatos, have read the foregoing CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE AND
NOTICE OF COMPLETION and know the contents thereof. 'The same is true of my own
knowledge, except as to the matters which are therein alleged on information or belief, and as to
those matters I believe it to be true.
