RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING THE. TOWN MANAGER TO ACCEPT $4,973.30 AWARDED BY'THE
'STATE OF CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES FOR
CHEMICALBIOLOGICAL GAS MASKS.
WHEREAS, the State of California Office of Emergency Services has funded
a $99,000 equipment grant for disbursement to Santa Clara County agencies; and
WHEREAS, the Town has specified the grant funds would be used to
purchase gas masks for all sworn police officers; and
WHEREAS, the Town ofLos Gatos is eligibleto receive $4,.973..30 under the
terms of this grant;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, County of'Santa Clara, State of California, that the Town Manager is
authorized to accept funds from the State of California Office ofEmergency Services.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 16th day of July 2001 by the following
vote:
