RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL/REDEVELOPIVIENT .AGENCY
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER/EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH PAVEX CONSTRUCTION
FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $215,000
FOR THE RESURFACING OF PARKING LOTS LAND 2
WHEREAS, on May 5, 1999,. the Town entered into a public works construction
contract with Pavex Construction for 'Project #9804 -Annual Street Resurfacing Program; and
WHEREAS, the Town now desires to resurface Parking Lots 1 and 2 and has requested a
quotation from Pavex Construction to perform said work; and
WHEREAS, Pavex Construction has provided its quotation for said work in the amount
of $214.,953.50; and
WHEREAS, the Town is willing to accept the quotation from Pavex Construction and
.authorize said worl~ via an extension to the contract for the construction of Project #9804.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council/Redevelopment
Agency of the Town of:Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California, accepts the
quotation from Pavex Construction to perform the resurfacing of Parking Lots 1 and 2, .and
authorizes the Town Manager/Executive Director to execute a contract extension with Pavex
Construction for an amount not to exceed $2.15,000 for said worl{.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council/Redevelopment
Agency of the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 2"d day of October, 2000, by the
following vote.
