RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
ACCEPTING WORK OF PAVER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
PROJECT #9804 -ANNUAL STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM
AND AUTHORIZING'THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE
CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE AND NOTICE OF COMPLETION
FOR RECORDING BY THE TOWN CLERK
WHEREAS, on April 19, 1999, the Town Council awarded a construction contract to Pavex
Construction Company for Project # 9804 -Annual .Street Resurfacing .Program, and
WHEREAS, on October 2, 2000, the Town Council authorized an amendment to said contract
for the resurfacing of Parking Lots 1 and 2, and
WHEREAS, on March 24, 2000, Pavex Construction Company satisfactorily completed all
work under the contract awarded on April 19, 1999, and
WHEREAS, on November 3, 2000, Pavex Construction Company satisfactorily completed all
work under the amendment to said contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. All work on Project #9804 -Annual Street Resurfacing Program, completed by Pavex
Construction Company, is hereby accepted as complete pursuant to the plans and specifications
for the project.
2. The Town Manager is authorized and directed to execute the Certificate of Acceptance
and Notice of Completion attached as Exhibit A hereto.
3. The Town Clerlc is directed to transmit this Certificate of Acceptance and Notice of
Completion to the .Recorder of Santa Clara County for recording.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
California, held on the 4th day of December, 2000, by the following vote:

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
We do hereby certify that Pavex Construction Company substantially completed the work on
2000, called for in the agreement with the Town o~f Los Gatos dated May 5, 1999.
The work is listed in the specifications prepared by the Town of Los Gatos and generally :consisted
of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services required for completion of the
Annual Street Resurfacing Program in the TOWN OF LOS GATOS, County of Santa Clara, State
of California and was completed, approved and accepted December 4, 2000.
