.LOS GATOS JFIIGH SCHOOL SWIMMING POOL.
WHEREAS, the swimming pool at Los Gatos High School was built in 1950 and is in
need of replacement; and
WHEREAS, local citizens have formed the Los Gatos Community Pool Foundation
to organize efforts to build a new pool; and
WHERE.~S, the new pool would serve the aquatic needs of the community with
expanded swim programs, .Recreation District programs, open plunge and .adult lap swim, high
school swim meets and water polo matches, and United 'Sates Water Polo regional programs;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does hereby
recognize and support these efforts of the Los Gatos Community Pool Foundation on behalf of the
entire community.

Los Gatos, California, held on the 2na day of August, 1999 by the following vote:
