RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
ACCEPTING WORK OF GIACALONE ELECTRICAL SERVICES, INC.
PROJECT 9930-PARK PLAZA LIGHTING

CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE ANT) NOTICE OF COMPLETION

WHEREAS:
1. On October 5, 1998,'the Town Council awarded the contract for the proposed work to
Giacalone Electrical Services, Inc.
2. Giacalone Electrical Services, Inc. substantially completed the project in conformance
with the plans and specifications pursuant to Council approval.
3. 10% percent of the performance bond provided by Giacalone Electrical Services, Inc.
shall remain in place for two years until September 7, 2001, to guarantee the work.
RESOLVED:
A. The work on Project 9930 -Park Plaza Lighting, completed by Giacalone Electrical
Services, Inc., is hereby accepted as complete pursuant to the plans and specifications for the
project..
B. The Town Manager is authorized and directed to execute the Certificate of
Acceptance and Notice of Completion attached as Exhibit A hereto.
C. The Town Clerk is directed to transmit this Certificate of Acceptance and Notice of
Completion to the Recorder of .Santa Clara Zounty for recording.
PASSED .AND .ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos, California, held on the 7th day of September, 1999 by the following vote.

CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE AND NOTICE OF COMPLETION
PROJECT 9930 -PARK PLAZA LIGHTING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
We dohereby certify that Giacalone Electrical Services, Inc., substantially completed the work On
August 19, 1999 called for in the agreement with the Town of Los Gatos .dated October 14, 1998.
The work is listed in the specifications prepared by the Town of Los Gatos and generally consisted
of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services required for completion of Project
#9930 -Park Plaza Lighting, located in the TOWN OF LOS GATOS, County of Santa Clara, State
of California and was completed, approved and accepted September 7, 1999.
The Surety on the bond accompanying the contract/agreement isthe Safeco Insurance Company of
America.
