ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSIT

FOLLOWS:

THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATO,S DOES ORDAIN AS
Section le The positions of Tax Collector and Deputy Tax
Collectors of the Town of Los Gatos are hereby created. The tax
Collector and Deputy Tag Collectors shall each be appointed by the Town
Council of the Town of Los Gatos and each shall hold said position for
and due ing the pleasure of said Town Council,
Section 2. The Town Tax Collector and Deputy Tax Collectors
shall be responsible for the collection of Town taxes and all Town
licenses, fees and charges and shall perform the duties as prescribed
by law,, by Resolution of the Town Council of the Torn of Los Gatos, and
by the Town Ordinances of the Town of Los Gatos.
Section 3, The Town Tax Collector and Deputy Tax Collectors
shall each furnish a Bond in an amount to be set and fixed by Resolution
of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos.
Section 4, The Town Tax Collector and Deputy Tax Collectors
shall each receive such compensation as the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos shall from, time to time fix by Resolution.
Section 5. Any. Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 6. This Ordinance shall be published once in the
LOS GATOS DAILY TIDES, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and
published in the Town of Los Gatos.
The above and foregoing Ordinance was duly and regularly
introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos held on the 6th day of October, 1952, and T,ias thereafter on the
20th day of October, 1952, duly and regularly adopted by the following
vote:
