TOWN COUNCIL The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos met in th e
Neighborhood Center,208 E . Main Street at 7 :35 p .m .,
in an adjourned regular session .
ROLL CALL PRESENT : Ruth Cannon, Thomas J . Ferrito, Brent N . Ventura
and Mayor Peter W . Siemens .
ABSENT : MarLyn J . Rasmussen .
REZONING PROPERTY Mr . Ventura moved for adoption of Ordinance No . 1513 entitled ,
WILDER &AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS .MENDING THE ZONIN G
NICHOLSON AVENUE ORDINANCE EFFECTING ZONE CHANGE NO . 52 FROM RM :5-20-R-LHP T O
(TOWN OWNED LOT)R-1D-LHP-PD . Mr . Ferrito seconded . Unanimously carried .
Mrs . Cannon moved Council accept staff recommendation an d
adopt Resolution No . 1981-176 entitled, A RESOLUTION APPROVIN G
AN EXTENSION OF CONTRACT FOR SOFTBALL FIELD IMPROVEMENTS ,
LOS GATOS HIGH SCHOOL . Mr . Ventura seconded . Unanimousl y
carried .
Town Manager stated the County has requested that the Town
adopt a new resolution concerning the Park Tax Bond Rate ,
substituting the work "cash" value for "assessed" value .
Mrs . Cannon moved to accept staff recommendation and adop t
Resolution No . 1981-177 entitled, A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN O F
LOS GATOS FIXING BOND SERVICE TAX RATES . Mr . Ventura seconded .
Unanimously carried .
ADJOURNMENT Mayor Siemens declared the meeting adjourned at 7 :43 p .m .
and stated Council would now hold the joint study sessio n
with the Planning Commission and Town Advisory Committe e
to discuss the General Plan and the Downtown Specific Plan .
