SCHEDULE FOR 2009-2010 FISCAL YEAR
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Town Council/Redevelopment Agency Meeting Schedule for 2009-2010 Fiscal Year.
BACKGROUND:
At the March 1, 2004 Town Council Meeting, Council canceled July meetings for summer
recess. In 2005, Council canceled the first meeting in January of each year due to the light level
of staffing over the holidays. This situation is continuing given holiday closures due to fiscal
conditions. The attached schedule reflects the cancellations. The attached schedule does not
show dates for the annual Council Retreat and Boards/Commissions Retreat, or special Council
meetings. In the past, these meetings have generally been held early in the calendar year.
