The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a Special Meeting on
Monday, November 10, 2008 at &00 P.M.

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER
ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Barbara Spector, Vice Mayor Mike Wasserman, Council
Member Steve Glickman, Council Member Diane McNutt, and Council Member
Joe Pirzynski.
Absent: None.
VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS
Mr. Davis
• Commented on the post election and degradation of the election.
• Commented against the mailer sent out to resident by Steve Glickman.
• Commented on a statement relating to Steve Glickman and Proposition
2.
INTERVIEWS - Interviews for Boards, Commissions, and Committees
a. Interview applicants for the vacant positions on Town Boards,
Commissions, and Committees:
- Arts Commission
- Arts Selection Panel
- Library Board
- Parks Commission
- Personnel Board
- Transportation and Parking
- Planning Commission
Council held interviews for all vacant positions.
Interview Process - Continued
b. Discuss Next Steps
Discussion on next steps included:
• Agreement that Linda Dolan, applicant for the Personnel Board, could be
interviewed prior to the December 1, 2008 Council meeting.
• Agreement that David Stonesifer may be considered for an appointment
to the Arts Commission without an interview pursuant to Council policy
regarding incumbents.
• Requested that a discussion to increase the number of positions to the
Arts Commission and Library Board be agendized for a regular Town
Council meeting.
• Mayor Barbara Spector and Vice Mayor Mike Wasserman agreed with
the request to agendize the discussion for a future Town Council meeting.
