ADVISORY COMMITTEE (TAC), EFFECTIVE JUNE 16, 2008
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt resolution appointing Todd Capurso, Director of Parks and Public Works, as
representative to the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority Technical Advisory
Committee (TAC), effective June 16, 2008.
BACKGROUND:
Each municipality in Santa Clara County has a staff (department director) representing their
agency at the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority Technical Advisory Committee
(TAC). The Technical Advisory Committee role is to advise and recommend public works and
transportation projects, funding, and proposals at the county wide level to the Valley
Transportation Authority Board.
DISCUSSION:
Kevin Rohani, as the Interim Director, has been the Town representative at TAC for the past 18
months. With the appointment of Todd Capurso as the Director of Parks and Public Works
Department, Todd Capurso will be the new Town representative at TAC for their monthly
meetings.

Staff is recommending the appointment of Todd Capurso to the Santa Clara Valley

RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
APPOINTING TODD CAPURSO, DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND PUBLIC WORKS
TO THE SANTA CLARA VALLEY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE (TAC) EFFECTIVE JUNE 16, 2008
WHEREAS, the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority is in need of a
representative to serve on the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC); and
WHEREAS, The Los Gatos' current TAC representative, Kevin Rohani, Interim
Director of Parks and Public Works, has been the Town of Los Gatos' current representative at
the TAC meetings.
WHEREAS, Kevin Rohani, who is the staff support for the Transportation and Parking
Commission, will continue in the capacity of Town Engineer.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Todd Capurso, Director of Parks and
Public Works be appointed as the Town representative to the Santa Clara Valley Transportation
Authority Technical Advisory Committee (TAC).
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos, California, held on the 2nd day of June, 2008, by the following vote:
