Council Member Steve Glickman was present for the Closed Session this evening.
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos held a special meeting (Town Hall in the
Neighborhood) on Monday, October 22, 2007 at the Jewish Community Center. Meeting
began at 7:00 p.m.

■ Barbara Spector, Vice Mayor

PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT

Title: Town Manager Appointment
Mr. Korb stated that direction was given and no action was taken.
Mayor Pirzysnki opened the meeting and stated the purpose of the Town Hall in the
Neighborhood Meeting. Staff made presentations on the following items:
■ 2010 General Plan Update- Bud Lortz, Community Development Director
■ Library Development Project - Peggy Conaway, Library Director
■ Los Gatos Prepared - Sergeant Kerry Harris, Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police
Members of the audience were invited to ask questions and participate in the
discussion.
VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS
Ms. Houde
• Questioned if something could be done about the condition of the sidewalks
between Nicholson Avenue and North Santa Cruz Avenue.
• Questioned if the Town was responsible for maintaining the sidewalks.
Mr. Quintana
Commented about the red pipes located in front of the new office building on
Main Street.
Questioned if there could be design enhancements to future developments which
would make these pipes less visible to the public.
Commented that he feels that homes on the hillsides are becoming more visible
from Town.
Ms. Quintana
• Commented that there is a clause within the General Plan relating to the water
pipes that does suggest that they are to be less visible.
