SUBJEC'T': APPOINTMENTS TO BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, AND COMMITTEES
RECOMMENDATION:
1. Conduct appointment process for: Personnel Board and Rent Advisory Committee.
2. Direct Clerk Administrator to re-advertise any vacant positions following the appointments
on May 7, 2007.
BACKROUND:
On April 16, 2007 Council conducted interviews for vacant Board, Commission, and Committee
positions. Council directed staff to re-advertise for the Arts Commission and Transportation and
Parking Commission as there were an insufficient number of applications received.
DISCUSSION:
The attached list reflects the names of applicants and the number of vacant Board, Commission
and Committee positions. Council may also direct the Clerk Administrator to re-advertise any
vacant positions following the appointments on May 7, 2007.
