SUBJECT: ADOPT RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL MAP FOR TRACT NO.
9888 (235 WEST MAIN STREET)
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt a resolution approving the Final Map for Tract No. 9888, (235 West Main Street).
BACKGROUND:
The developer, Village Inn Associates, LLC, requested approval of an, eight unit office
condominium subdivision on West Main Street on the former Village Inn ,site. On December 14,
2005, the T own Planning Commission approved the tentative subdivision map (M-05-10).

Tract No. 9888 will create eight condominium parcels for office use, displacing a 33-unit motel
(Village Inn) on a 0.48 acre site. The developer, Village Inn Associates, LLC, have provided all
necessary maps and drawings (displayed in the Council Chambers). Contracts, securities, and
insurance are not requires as no public improvements were conditioned as part of the project.
The developer has paid the appropriate fees to fully comply with the previously-imposed
development conditions and Town ordinances, as listed on Page 2 of this report.
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT:
This activity is a project as defined under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) but
is ministerial; therefore no further action is required under CEQA.

FISCAL IMPACT:
The developer, Village Inn Associates, LLC, have paid the following fees on December 6, 2006
- Receipt # 243348.
1. Tract Map checking fee $6,750.00
2. Computer Services fee (map check) 270.00
3. Microfilming fee 15.00
Additionally, the applicant has paid all required Building Permit, Grading Permit, and
Community Benefit fees.

RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
APPROVING FINAL MAP OF TRACT NO. 9888 - (235 WEST MAIN STREET)
WHEREAS, on December 14, 2005, the Planning Commission of the Town of Los
Gatos approved the Tentative Map Application M-05-10, with conditions; and
WHEREAS, the Owner or Subdivider has complied with the conditions of Tentative
Map Application M-05-10.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the certain Final Map of Tract No. 9888
in the Town of Los Gatos, dated November 2006, and prepared by Giuliani and Kull, Inc. for
approval by the Town Engineer of the Town of Los Gatos, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council held on the 18th
day of December, 2006 by the following vote:
