DISCUSSION:
Ben Lopes, Santa Clara County Fire Department Fire Chief will present a verbal update on current
and future fire-related issues and activities. It is anticipated that the presentation will cover the
following topics:
• Santa Clara County Fire Department Accomplishments
• Funding of Los Gatos Fire Services
• Annual Operating Budget Outlook
• Harvey Rose Management Audit Assessment Results
• Emergency Preparedness Efforts
At the conclusion of the presentation, Council will have an opportunity to ask questions or obtain
further clarification on other fire-related matters.
