The Town Council/Parking Authority/Redevelopment Agency of the
Town of Los Gatos met in the Council Chambers of the Town of Hall,
110 East Main Street, at 7:00 PM, November 21, 2005, in a joint regular
session.

Commendations
• Laura Bajuk, Director - Forbes Mill Museum
Mr. Wasserman presented Laura Bajuk with a commendation thanking
her for her years of service at the Forbes Museum.
Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reportinp,
• Steve Conway, Director of Finance
Mr. Wasserman presented a certificate of achievement to the Town of
Los Gatos for excellence in financial reporting. Steve Conway, Director of
Finance, accepted the report on behalf of the Town of Los Gatos.

Mr. Wassserman presented the Town with a check for $20,000 dollars
offered by Doctor Joan Olaff with the Los Gatos Medical Center for the
promotion of soccer fields in Los Gatos.

placement of temporary structure in Town Plaza to support
Holiday Carriage Ride Program. (4-8)
5. Adopt resolution authorizing the Town Manager to accept a
donation from the Los Gatos Police Foundation in the amount of
$5,348.00 for the purchase of 40 multi-use training mats for the
Police Department. RESOLUTION 2005-119 (5-36)
6. Abatement of Hazardous Vegetation (Weeds) (6-33)
a. Adopt resolution declaring hazardous vegetation (weeds) a
public nuisance and providing for their abatement.

b. Set January 17, 2006 as a public hearing date on this annual
program.

• Commented regarding the schedule to build sidewalks
along Blossom Hill Road.
• Commented on the check of $20,000 for the promotion of
soccer, and commented on park dedication fees from the
Sobrato project to fund soccer fields.
Mr. Korb clarified that the Government code does not allow the Town to
assess park dedication fees from the Sobrato project.
Jan Blasberg
• Commented regarding Fisher Middle School Students
raising donations by selling calendars to help Belchase
Elementary School which was devastated by Hurricane
Katrina.
