sales later in the day. Due to alcohol sales, the entire venue will be enclosed with temporary fencing.
Expected attendance is several thousand throughout the day.
The event as proposed, would involve the closure of the Los Gatos Library and Civic Center parking
lots and possibly Fiesta Way for the entire day. The lot closures will be coordinated with the library.
The scale of the event would be similar to that of one day of the Fiesta de Artes event held in August
each year. During the Fiesta de Artes, the library has previously chosen to close for the day, however
this decision has not yet been fully evaluated by the library.
CONCLUSION:
No Council action is required at this time for this event to move forward.
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT:
Is not a project defined under CEQA, and no further action is required.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There should be no fiscal impact as the entire event will be billed on a cost recovery basis.
