a. Discuss policy decision to proceed with County island
annexations without protest proceedings as allowed by
Government Code Section 56375.3.
b. Provide direction to staff whether to proceed with the County

COUNCIL
• Questioned County participation regarding waiving the service fees
COMMENT
and process costs involved with annexation to the Town.
• Clarification of $200,000 for maintenance and repairs to the streets
that would be annexed into the Town.
• Questioned how the repairs would be integrated into the street
improvement plan.
• Commented regarding the necessity for the County to take the lead
in getting information to residents in the County pockets.

• Commented on neighborhood compatibility, use of Town services,
