OF "SHANNON OAKS LANE" AND "MOUNTAIN LAUREL LANE" TO THE TOWN'S OFFICIAL STREET NAMING LIST. RECOMMENDATION: Approve request to add the names "Shannon Oaks Lane" and "Mountain Laurel
Lane" to the Town's officialstreet naming list. DISCUSSION: Council Resolution 1982-175 allows for adding names to the Town's official list of street names if the proposed name has historical
or significant reference to the Town. The Clerk's Office has received a letter from Greenbriar Homes Communities requesting the use of the names "Shannon Oaks Lane" and "Mountain Laurel
Lane" for their new development located in the vicinity of Hicks and Shannon Road. Ms. Katja Kamangar has chosen the names from those referred to in the Bruntz History of Los Gatos book:
She stated that the project is called Shannon Valley Ranch so the street name "Shannon Oaks Lane" ties into the project name as well as the planting of over 300 new oak trees which will
be part of the development. Ms. Kamangar also stated that they selected "Mountain Laurel Lane" since the subject property is located in the hillside area and the "Mountain Laurel" is

Road Dear Ms. Cosgrove: I am writing to request addresses for the homes at our Shannon Valley Ranch community in Los Gatos. Enclosed is an 11 x 17" map of the property showing the street
names and address numbers that we would like to have. The two street names are from Attachment C of the Town's !'Official Town Street Names" document (attached). We selected the names
Shannon Oaks Lane and Mountain Laurel Lane for various reasons. The subject property is located off Shannon Road and our community is called Shannon Valley Ranch so the street name Shannon
Oaks Lane ties into both of these well. Additionally, having "Oaks" in the street name seems appropriate since we will be planting over 300 new oaks on the propertY'. We selected Mountain
Laurel Lane since the subject property is located in the hillside area of the Town and includes both "mountains" as well asa valley on the lands. The Mountain Laurel is also a beautiful
