.• RESOLUTION NO. ADOPTRESOLUTIONAUTHORIZINGANAGREEMENTAMONGTHE SILICONVALLEY ANIMAL CONTROL AUTHORITY AND ITS MEMBER CITIES REGARDiNG PURCHASE OF THOMAS ROAD PROPERTY WHEREAS, the
Town Council, on January 5,2004, voted to proceed with the City of San Jose for animal control services; and WHEREAS, the Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority has requested that the
Town enter into an agreement that allows the remaining three cities in the JPA (Campbell, Santa Clara and Monte Sereno), to purchase property in Santa Clara for the animal shelter; and,
WHEREAS, this agreement will ensure that no funds from the withdrawing cities will be used for this purchase, and also releases the withdrawing cities from any right, title or interest
in the property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the TU\Xffi COll.."'1cil ofthe Tovvn .. \ of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California, to approve this agreement among
