While I appreciate the challenging circumstances of replacing our old water lines, I have two questions:
1. Why couldn’t SJ Water contact affected users by email, text, and phone until 24 hours after the water main was
breached? It sounds to me as though the Town intervened to get the messaging done. At the very least they could
have designated a person to go door to door to keep people informed. Don’t they have access to our emergency
contact info?
2. It is extremely unclear as to when we need to move our vehicles to accommodate the work. having signs up all the
time that say “No Parking” is very challenging on a street with parking issues. So often the contractors are not
working on Villa Ave. at all. We want to be cooperative, but we need clearer messaging on this.
