We have begun to receive inquiries from cannabis-related retail operators and would like to learn if we should be having these conversations or not. Are either of these sites anticipated to be within the cannabis zoning region? I believe 32 E Main is too close to LGHS. Appreciate any thoughts and insights. We plan to attend the meeting on June 21st. Main Street Main Street Cheers, Jonathan G. This, and the good, well supported schools, was why we moved here 34 years ago and why we stay. Allowing storefront marijuana dispensaries in Los Gatoscompletely negates the efforts that our town has upheld for those years. I understand the need for additional taxrevenue, but please, do not use this avenue as an income stream. It WILL be detrimental to our children. Kids have been finding ways around the laws & rules that keep them safe for years& they will easily get past ID scanners, etc to access the marijuana before the legal age. I expect they are doing soeven now, with the dispensaries outside of Los Gatos. Having those storefronts in our town makes it that mucheasier for our kids to access & also sends a message that Los Gatos thinks it’s ok.It’s NOT ok!! Find another way to make the revenue. Our children are our future, and this money making idea isputting them at risk. Cannabis is legal and it should be regulated and taxed. It would help our citizens by providing a safe environment for purchasing the product and it would help our city by providing much needed revenue. This is a much better option than purchasing it from people “on the streets”. Thank you, Denise Dulin From:Ann Mirizzi To:Council Subject:Vote No on Marijuana Dispensaries in Los Gatos Date:Friday, June 17, 2022 9:00:22 AM EXTERNAL SENDER My husband and I live in Los Gatos and DO NOT want Marijuana Dispensaries in our town.
