Subject: Legalize Cannabis
EXTERNAL SENDER
Dear Los Gatos Town Council,
I have heard the arguments regarding the pros and cons of allowing commercial cannabis in Los Gatos. I
want you to know that I support the commercial cannabis grows and dispensaries and a proposed
general or special sales tax. It is the only way we can control the sale of cannabis and it would help Los
Gatos’ financial problems. Please continue moving forward on this issue.

EXTERNAL SENDER
Town Council of Los Gatos:
I believe that it is in the best interests of the citizens of the town to approve the application for cannabis
dispensaries in our town.
It make fiscal sense and does not pose a threat to public safety; in fact, objective analysis shows the
opposite.
Thank You

Subject: Cannibus tax
EXTERNAL SENDER
Dear Los Gatos Town Council
I would like to express my support for the decision to allow Cannabis related businesses to operate
locally. Adding tax revenue, providing safe access and eliminating the black market by allowing
legitimate business seems like an obvious choice. I realize that some uninformed people may disagree.

EXTERNAL SENDER
I have heard the arguments regarding the pros and cons of allowing commercial cannabis in Los Gatos. I
support the commercial cannabis growers and dispensaries and a proposed general or special sales tax. I
know many seniors that rely on cannibals for medical reasons, such as helping with nausea during
chemo. The location of the shop is important as we have traffic issues. On the outer areas of LG would
be preferable.

Subject: Marijuana Dispensary
EXTERNAL SENDER Not a good idea. Los Gatos is surrounded by cities selling marijuana. A
simple observation of the numerous outlets already in existence begs the
question, why?
If this proposal is only to gain tax revenue it seems shortsighted to establish licensing, fees, locations (zoning), code enforcement, etc., for the taxes collected. There's enough pot for users to get elsewhere. Lets keep Los Gatos smoke free!

EXTERNAL SENDER
My biggest reasons to not support cannabis sales in Los Gatos:
1. Every addicted drug user, which causes homelessness, started their addiction with cannabis. It
is a gateway drug.
2. New evidence shows use of cannabis, over longer periods of time, do decrease brain function
and reduces intelligence.
3. My own personal experience is that every young adult involved with cannabis has significant
motivation issues. Ambition is the first casualty.
I urge the town to not allow the selling of such an awful product.
