$5,000 to Recognize Receipt and Expenditure of California State Library Grant
Funds
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize revenue and expenditure budget adjustments in the amount of $5,000 to recognize
receipt and expenditure of California State Library grant funds.
BACKGROUND:
The Library has been successful in obtaining a $5,000 grant from the California State Library for
electronic material purchases. The grant funds will be used to purchase additional e-book titles
for the Library’s CloudLibrary platform. Grant funds will be expended by the end of June 2020.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Expenditures in the amount of $5,000 will be reimbursed by an equal amount of grant revenue
received. Grant revenues will be recorded to account 7801-43343 and be expended from
account 7801-61172.
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT:
This is not a project defined under CEQA, and no further action is required.
