Minor Residential Application MR-19-011
Consider an appeal of a Community Development Director decision approving a
request for construction of a detached garage exceeding 450 square feet on property
zoned R-1:8. APN 410-19-018.

FINDINGS
Required findings for CEQA:
■The project is Categorically Exempt pursuant to the adopted Guidelines for the
Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act, Section 15303: New
Construction or Conversion of Small Structures.
Required Compliance with the Residential Design Guidelines:
■The project is in compliance with the Residential Design Guidelines for detached accessory
buildings. The proposed detached garage would be subordinate to the main structure on
the site, with similar roof forms as the main residence and identical class “A” composition
shingled roof, and a mix of vertical board and batten and horizontal wood siding to match
the main residence.
