Our home sits directly below the proposed development at 248 Jared Lane. We have
reviewed the plans extensively and met with Mr. Pan as well as Mr. Mullin. We have two
concerns we wish to bring to the attention of the Planning Commission:
1.The building site for the driveway is on a steep hillside directly above our back yard
and home. There is a material risk of dirt, debris, rocks, and other heavy materials
falling down the hill into our yard / home risking injury to our family and damage to
our property during construction of the proposed driveway and home. Therefore
we ask that the following be added as a condition for approval of the development
plan: a layer of 6 foot high chain-link fencing to be established on the hillside below
the area corresponding to the proposed driveway.
2.We are concerned about line of sight between our master bedroom and back yard
and the west facing balcony and master bedroom of the proposed development.
Even with the existing trees separating us we feel our privacy will be compromised.
We appreciate the efforts made by the developer to include trees and landscaping
adjacent to the proposed retaining walls supporting the driveway, but we ask that
said landscaping be comprised of a minimum of 24-36" box trees and shrubs and
that these plantings be maintained into perpetuity.
