JANUARY 23, 2019
The Planning Commission of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a Regular Meeting on
Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at 7:00 p.m.
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 7:00 P.M.
ROLL CALL
Present: Chair Matthew Hudes, Vice Chair Melanie Hanssen, Commissioner Mary Badame,
Commissioner Kendra Burch, Commissioner Kathryn Janoff, Commissioner Reza Tavana,
and Commissioner Tom O'Donnell
Absent: None.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Vice Chair Hanssen led the Pledge of Allegiance. The audience was invited to participate.

MOTION: Motion by Commissioner O'Donnell to approve adoption of the Consent
Calendar. Seconded by Commissioner Badame.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously.

Commissioners discussed the matter.
MOTION: Motion by Commissioner Badame to approve an Architecture and Site
Application for 115 Los Patios. Seconded by Commissioner Burch.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously.
4. Town Code Amendment – Shared Parking
Town Code Amendment Application A-18-002
Project Location: Town Wide
Applicant: Town of Los Gatos
Project Planners: Erin Walters/Azhar Khan
Consider amendments to Chapter 29 (Zoning Regulations) to the Town Code regarding
shared parking.

MOTION: Motion by Commissioner O’Donnell to recommend Town Council
approval of Town Code Amendments to Chapter 29 regarding shared
parking. Seconded by Commissioner Janoff.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously.

5. Report from the Director of Community Development
Joel Paulson, Director of Community Development
• There are a number of openings on existing commissions and committees. Information
is on the Town’s website on the Clerk Department page. Submittal deadline is February
8, 2019, with interviews tentatively scheduled for February 19, 2019.
