TOWN OF LOS GATOS PARKS AND PUBLIC WORKS A: The property is located within a zone of potential earthquake -induced landsliding per the State Seismic Hazard Zones Map. Per the conditions of approval, the applicant will have additional slope stability analysis preformed in conformance with the comments of the town's geotechnical engineering consultant prior to issuance of Grading and Building Permits. Q: Do any active faults traverse the project site? A: No -There are no mapped faults traversing the site. The closest mapped fault is a trace of the Sargent-Berrocal Fault Zone and is located approximately 990 feet north of the project site. Q: Is liquefaction a concern for the project site? A: No -The project site is not located within a liquefaction hazard zone on the State Hazard Zones Map. Stormwater: Q: What is the receiving water body for the project site? A: The project site is located in the Los Gatos Creek watershed, a sub-watershed area of the Guadalupe River watershed. Q: Is the project located within a FEMA Flood Hazard Zone? A: No -The project site is located outs i de of any FEMA Flood Hazard Zones . Q: What stormwater treatment methods are being proposed? A: Roof rainwater leaders are to be discharged onto splash blocks and stormwater collected via area drains will be discharged into energy dissipaters designed to spread out the rain water so that it enters the landscaped areas as sheet flow. Construction: Q: Will the project have a negative impact on the condition of the existing roadway? A: The project's conditions of approval require a pre-and post-construction pavement survey and for the Developer to repair or replace all existing improvements not designated for removal that are damaged or removed because of the Developer's operations.
