Adendum - MIP Agreement 1

SUBJECT: AUTHORIZE THE TOWN MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A TWO-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH LOS GATOS MUSIC IN THE PARK (LGMIP) TO PRODUCE, MANAGE AND PROMOTE THE SUMMER MUSIC IN THE PARK CONCERT SERIES
FOR 2018 AND 2019 IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE FORM ATTACHED ALLOWING FOR MINOR TECHNICAL OR CLERICAL CORRECTIONS, IF ANY, TO BE INCLUDED IN THE AUTHORITY GRANTED HERE.
REMARKS:
Attached is a clean version of the draft agreement with comments in the margins of the Agreement on items which need Council input and direction. The items that must be resolved by Council
are as follows:
LGMIP is requesting $11,000 for the 2018 season which consists of the original $6000 that LGMIP has received the past two years plus an additional $5000 for Private Security and three
light towers at Park Dance.
LGMIP only wants to pay one special event fee for both the 10 Civic Center Events and the Park Dance. The difference is approximately $178.
LGMIP only wants to pay one banner fee for both the 10 Civic Center Events and the Park Dance. The difference is approximately $94.
LGMIP does not want any additional restrictions related to noise reduction or monitoring before 5 pm.
LGMIP wants to allow alcohol in Lobby Area.
LGMIP wants to pay only $20 per event for attendant to open and lock the door and not be at the entire event. The difference is approximately $600.00 for the 10 Civic Center events.
